My Last Day of Vacation.
So, Yesterday was the tryouts for Deal or No Deal. First let me say, I would probably do it all again, but I would end it the differently. There were THOUSANDS of people. I will upload some pics. when I get home. My sister and I got in line at 9:30 a.m.! We had some nice people around us, so that was good. Definitely could have gotten some crazy people, so thank God that did not happen. Then we waited, and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. Then we hit the actual "entrance" of the line. We were all in the parking lot of the Grand Ole opry Mall, down in Nashville, that is one nice mall. Well anyway, after 8 or 9 hours of waiting in the parking lot, and we were aloud to cross the street, and be right in front of the all............ and wait another 3 hours. So at the end, right before we went into the room where all the producers were at, they lined us all up into 2 lines of 8 people, I was fine, smiley, happy to be at the end. Now here is the tricky part, when you get up to the table with the producer, He says "hi" your time starts. YOU ONLY HAVE 20 SECONDS TO SELL YOURSELF OUT OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE. 20 Seconds, that is it. And you cannot blow it. So okay the line before us goes in. Still fine, still happy. Then it is our turn to go in. still fine, still happy. Then the line before us gets to go to their producer table. Yyyyyaaayyyyyyyy!!!! Alright it is our turn. We all circle around the front of the table.I a going to tell you all what I was thinking this whole time. He starts with an older lady at the end, "oh she did good, good job for her." Next, said her name, where she was from, said she needed some money for various reasons. Next was another older woman, she was talking about her 2 daughters that she was trying to get through Dartmouth Collage. Good for her she did it exactly the way that she practiced. Then it was my sister Lisa's turn. She flew 11 hours, rented a car, drove my 3 girls and I down to Nashville, gave us a vacation for a week, brought us into her home, fed us and has been so great with the girls, all so I can have a chance to tryout for Deal or No Deal. Okay my turn, "Hi" he says. "Hi" I say, "My name is T- - - - - M--------, I am from Colorado. I have 3 kids all girls, and being on Deal of No Deal is a big dream of mine" and then, and then, I started to cry, and then, and then, I could not remember what i was going to say, WHAT A DORK. I started crying in front of Mr. man right there, the one who is choosing people for the show, duh. He went on and did the next 4 people. Took our applications asked 2 of our group to stay behind, I was not one of them obviously. We saw one of them later and he said that they gave him a second interview, and just asked a few more questions. Then I could not stop crying, I just feel like I totally screwed that up. Well here is my positive spin, If that does not make somebody stand out in thousands and thousands of people, I do not know what will. They also said that it could take up to a year for them to call you. I thought I would do better talking to a person, than a camera, but I guess I proved that theory wrong. Oh well, the rest of the vacation has been a great time. That is the only thing I am a little disappointed about. My sister has a very generous heart. She is a great person. So I am just waiting for everybody else to wake up, and then we will start enjoying our last day of vacation. I see you all soon, well some of you anyway. CHOW.

You will never guess
The last 5 days has been a whirlwind. You will never guess where I am. I am in Tennessee. My sister came and got me and my 3 kids and brought us down so I can try out for Deal or No Deal. It is my favorite game show. My husband and I have never been apart like this before and I miss him dearly. My sister is spoiling us like crazy and my girls are loving it. I am a little uncomfortable about it, but whatever!!! We hardly ever see her so I guess I can deal with it for a while. My oldest has been doing a couple of things to "earn" money, So that is pretty neat. She bought all 3 girls some toys from toys-r-us and She took me to a day spa today to get a massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure. It was pretty weird at first, but once I got there I was alright. It was pretty awesome!!!! So we are having a good time, but she wont let me do anything, No dishes, No helping with meals, etc. That is weird for me too, because I want to help, but noooooooooooo... I cannot, she wants me to be on Vacation. She is being very generous. Well I am going to go call my hubby. He will be home from work soon.

Today!
Today I went to Canyon City with my mother in law. I did not know they had such a neat little city there, except for the whole prison thing. It really reminded me of Hutchinson. A small town that you could walk from one side to the other in an hour or so, small little locally owned stores, Nice park. I saw all kinds of Mommy's with their kids, they were smiling and having fun, and there were no sirens, like when I go to the park with my kids. They are a small town and it was kind of tranquil. I walked along the Arkansas with the girls, they had a great time throwing rocks in, and I kept having the sinking feeling they were going to fall in. Motherly paranoia. My 1 year old loves water, and she enjoyed looking at it, and I think she was truly in awe. We fed ducks, played at the park, and Grandma treated us to lunch. All in All not a bad day. Except the part where Grandma kept "backseat driving." I tolerated it because we were in her car, and I was driving. Otherwise, I probably would have told her hush a lot more than I did. The girls had a great time, as did I, and it all was a big mistake!!!!!

All Natrual II
So, I told you all about my baby who loves to be naked butt. Well this has turned into quite an obsession with her. I have tried putting her diapers on backward so she cannot reach the tabs, it did not work, she figured that out too. So yesterday she gave me a "Rugrats and Dirty Rugs" story, because it just sounds like it would happen to Dee. I went in to get her from her nap. She was still in her p.j.'s which did not have pants. She had taken off her diaper and poopied in her bed. I think I went in right after she did it, because she hadn't played in it, thank God. So, take her out, put her a new diaper on. Later I went to bible study and daddy stayed home with her, they were not feeling well, and when he went to the restroom, she took her diaper off and pottied in her playpen. What to do, what to do? See it just sounds like something that Dee would write about.

Downward spiral.
Today I am on a downward slope. I miss my friend. I tried calling her, and she called me back, but I missed her call. Bummer. My mood is just blah, I bet I will be praying a lot today, more than most. Anyway, That is all for now. chow.

On this day!!
For some reason today I seem to be reflecting on my past, and present, and what a different feeling about myself, and life in general, than I have had in the past. God has certainly changed my life in these past 9 years, and I know more is to come. I remember growing up and just going along, maybe driving my family crazy cause I talked a lot when I was a kid, not really getting into trouble, too often, I had a couple a problems. Who am I kidding? A lot of problems. But what I think about today are my children, and what a different life they have, in so many ways, and how in a lot of ways, it is kind of the same. I still struggle with Gods will, and sometimes I have a hard time just shutting up to pray. But I know because Jesus died for me, I have a chance for redemption. All those bad things I did, and still do, God forgives me because of Jesus. All the bad things my children and husband do, they are forgiven. We are forgiven because Jesus died for us. I write that and think, he did not JUST die for us, he was tortured, and hurt; stabbed, beaten, humiliated, and Nailed for us. All so you and I can go to heaven. I know that sounds simple to some, and for some you know it is not. It is a constant thing in a Christians life, pray, change and evaluate; pray, change and evaluate; pray, change and evaluate. We will never be perfect like Christ, but we are called to be better all the time. To be more Christlike in all we do. To serve, knowing we will never be good enough. That is why Jesus died for me, and you. I have more hope now, knowing that the past does not really matter, as long as I have learned from it, and I must say I learned a lot about what not to do. I know that God has a plan for me, and my family, and we must submit to his will. And everyday my walk with God gets better. I know I almost have a childlike view about this, but in a lot of ways, I am still a child in my Christianity. My understanding grows, and I think that is what is important. I get stronger in my faith, and I can pass that on to my kids, friends, family, and let Gods grace shine through me, or try my best anyway, and learn more, and try harder. I am debating whether I am going to post this or not. It sounds a little silly, but this is what I am thinking about, and really looking forward to church today, being in Gods house on the Lords day, and hearing how Jesus died and rose for me. Happy Easter. But remember Him everyday, not just today.

Something freaky about 9-11
Okay so my husband showed me this, and I HAVE to share it with you. It is really crazy, especially the end.
1)New York City has 11 letters
2)Afghanistan has 11 letters.
3) Ramsin Yuseb (the terrorist who threatened to destroy the Twin Towers in 1993) has 11 letters.
4) George W. Bush has 11 letters
This could be coincidence, but this gets more interesting:
1) New York is the 11th state.
2) The first plane crashing against the Twin Towers was flight #11
3) Flight 11 was carrying 92 passengers. 9+2=11
4) Flight 77 which also hit Twin Towers, was carrying 65 passengers. 6+5=11
5) The tragedy was on September 11, or 9/11 as it is now known. 9+1+1=11.
6) The date is equal to the US emergency services telephone number 911. 9+1+1=11.
Sheer coincidence?! Keep reading, there is more.
1) The total number of victims inside all the hijacked planes was 254. 2+5+4=11
2) September 11 is day number 254 of the calendar year. Again 2+5+4=11
3) The Madrid bombing took place on 3/11/2004. 3+1+1+2+4=11
4) The tragedy of Madrid happened 911 days after the Twin Towers incident.
Now this is where things get totally eerie:
The most recognized symbol for the US, after the Stars and Stripes, is the Eagle. The following verse is taken from the Quran, the Islamic holy book:
"For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced: for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah and there was peace." That verse is number 9.11 of the Quran. (I do not know this for sure, I am taking the word of this person who wrote this.) Unconvinced about all of this Still?
Try this and see how you feel afterwards, it freaked me out, a little, but it was still a huge shock.
Open Microsoft Word and do the following:
1) Type in with cap lock on; Q33 NY. (just like I did) This is the flight number of the first plane to hit one of the Twin Towers.
2) Highlight the Q33 NY.
3) Change the font size to 48.
4) Change the actual font to the WINGDINGS ( if you have 3 types of wingdings, it is just the reg. wingdings.)
So go do it. Stop reading and go check that out. What did I say, stop reading.
why are you still reading, go hurry do it now. It is crazy!!!!

The importance of teaching water and electronics, spells no, no.
I was sitting and doing my 4 year olds hair, I have a spray bottle that I use. So the timer goes off for the laundry. I leave my 9 year old and 4 year old for about 5 minutes playing monopoly (kind of) and head down to switch to the dryer. When I came back my 4 year old is hiding and my 9 year old is telling me that my 4 year old has sprayed daddies t.v. and now the sound is not working. Oh my gosh!!! I proceed by telling her how lucky she is that she did not get electrocuted or that it did not start a fire, and then she had to go sit in timeout, and now she has to tell daddy when he gets home what she did. And out of all of it, telling daddy is the worst part for her. Well the t.v. is going back and forth, I can hear something and then nothing. And it keeps changing channels on its own. So now I am going to go on free cycle and see if anyone out there may have one my husband can have. As much as I do not like the t.v., because it distracts me too much, it is my husbands down time, and I am trying real hard to respect it. So off I go. And my poor baby keeps saying, "he won't love me anymore," which I think she knows better, she is just a major drama-mama!!!!

Lumps!
I had my appointment yesterday to check a lump I found. She said it was probably nothing but I am going for an ultrasound on it tomorrow. I am trying really hard not to think about it, because I really do think it is nothing, but my mind keeps saying "what if it is something?"
Here is my positive spin, in high school I wanted to shave my head, yeah crazy huh? So if it is something, and I have to do chemo, at least if I lose my hair than I would get to experience the baldness I once wanted. I am not going to say the negative. Anyway, pray for me, please. It is very hard not to think about. I do not know enough of my family history to know if anyone in my family has had breast cancer, at least I am only going to have to be paranoid about it for 1 day. I will let you know what the doc. says. I just keep telling myself, don't worry, it is nothing. But what if just creeps right back in. Sigh, and Pray.
